BUT you do need to manually set the length of the result field after the move:
MOVE FIXFLD VARFLD
EVAL %len(VARFLD) = %len(%trimr(FIXFLD))
Note that %len() is on the left hand side of the expression to set the
length of the variable length field....also note that I'm using
TRIMR() as only the right hand blanks can be trimmed in this case.
BUT...you shouldn't be using MOVE in RPGIV at all...and you really
shouldn't be trying to use it with variable length fields.
