The last time I looked into this, a third party product was needed so
System i DB2 could "see" MS SQL server as a remote database.
Also, I think IBM has, for a fee, a feature code that supports this for
less than $10K - but that is over five years ago.
After that, I think you would use RPG with embedded SQL to make a standard
call to a stored procedure.
