Given this parameter on a C function:

bool bUseFIPS

how would I code the prototype and call in RPG?

If you can compile the C module, compile it with OUTPUT(*PRINT) OPTION(*XREF) to see how it's defining the bool variable.

And while you're at it, use OPTION(*SHOWINC) so you find out where the typedef is for bool - it might be handy to know where to look later for other types. The C compiler listing has an INCNO column on the right that shows what include file the line comes from. Then there's a table at the end of the listing (look for INCNBR) that lists the include files. (I find it's much easier to locate the file that way than to try and trace backwards through the nested #include statements.)
