Stu,you
Thanks a lot, it works almost like a charm... The only problem is that
the CHAIN opcode to the subfile, creates automatically _two_ "Subfile
Record not found" messages (I have no clue why); the API you suggested
takes care about one of them, but not the second.
Even in this situation, it is much better than before.
Thank you,

Florin,
After you CHAIN to the subfile, and your indicator is on (meaning "not
found") or however you trap it, just QMHRCVPM to remove the messages
know will be there and continue. You shuld not have to go to thework
trouble of
processing joblog messages because the messages will have been sent to
the
call stack entry that did the CHAIN or errant READC.

If your company can't afford $149/yr (?)....you better make sure
ifresume is up to date...
Heck, I pay my out of my own pocket...it's easier than dealing with
the red tape and it means the hard copies are mine to take with me
notI leave. If there's more than one subscriber from the same company,
it only costs $79/yr(?).
If you're not willing to put out anything to help your own
career....don't come crying when you get let go...
Just my opinion....

Hello,
I have this interactive program processing a display file with a
subfile; the user enters values in the input fields (both, Control
errorSubfile records). When the values are wrong, the program issues
aremessages (in a subfile message record), using QMHSNDPM API, which
shown the next time when the file is displayed. The problem is
thethe
followedsystem issues, also, messages, like "Subfile Record not found"
by a "C" (for Cancel) and the user sees this messages, too.
My question is how could I get rid of these system messages, so
usermailing
mailingsees only error messages directly related to the values he enters?
(Hopefully I was clear enough with my explanation...)
Thank you
