We still write procedure wrappers for use by RPGIII. I thought I'd try out the MAIN keyword as I'd never used it before.
So, before the use of MAIN, I would have had :
D MySP PI
CallP WrappedProcedure
*inlr = *on;
Now, I have :
P MySP B
D MySP PI
CallP WrappedProcedure
P MySP E
I read that this will help performance as there is no cycle. If so, shouldn't all wrappers use MAIN? Anything else I need to consider with this keyword?
Thanks.
