× The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.

I ran into the same problem in 6.1. Stuff quit working. They gave me the
following environment variable which I set in the program and it fixes the
problem and I can use the 1.6 version. Why it works I don't have a clue.

to set that JAVA_HOME environemnt variable at a system level because it
could potentially interfere with other applications. So I changed things
so I only set it as *JOB in programs where we are mixing native RPG SQL and
JDBC access.
