Midrange-nontech probably better, if one were so inclined. But the [lack of] marketing is one of the /lack of investment/ issues that ensures the system remains niche, and one of the costly and significant changes that would be required. Beyond that, just look at any past discussion. Almost always implying that without useless /bling/ plus making the OS and development tools effective giveaways, how the system is marketed by IBM will not matter because nobody will pay so much for something that is not /pretty/ or already /sexy/, esp. when they can get Linux /free/ and various other cheaper hardware that runs all of the /sexy/ OS.
