Still, it would have helped me to know it is not an IBM command but
something you have written. I know it's good stuff, it's just confusing
to give advice to use a command that is not part of a licensed product.
Or am I just being finicky because my back hurts?

Vern,--
you are not absolutely right - powerEXT core is MIT licensed, so you can
download it, take
the echoBinToClient subprocedure out - and call it your own

You did not explain that he has to have your app installed - it is free,
but it won't be on everyone's machine

It is as simple as this to put a pdf from OPT01 to the net:
/copy qsrc,pxapihdr General H-Spec's
* powerEXT API Connectors
/copy qsrc,pxapicgicn Basic HTTP connecter & Basic Services
/free
clearSrvPgm();
echoBinToClient('application/pdf'
:'/QOPT/SAMSUNG_CLP/MANUAL/ENGLISH/guide_en.pdf');
*inlr = *on;
return;

Accessing OPT01
Is there a way to access a file on OPT01 from an RPG program?
I am researching ways to get data off of a DVD and I would like to avoid
having to copy the file from the DVD to the IFS before being able to
access the data in the file.
I have created a DKTF file but I am not sure that is the way to go.
If anyone know how to access OPT01, please let me know.
Marvin
