also if you have the service program in memory (i.e. you have used the
service program in your job prior to the UPDSRVPGM) you'll need to reclaim
the activation group, if it's running in the default activation group then
you'll have to sign off and back on...

Debug will only show the field if you're using it, I think.

Hi,
I created a module and bound it to a service program. In debug, it

hits every line. I added a new field to the module, compiled it and then
did an UPDSRVPGM. When I put it in debug, the new field is not there. What

step did I miss? I am using a binding directory and specified it on the
compile of the module. Is there some kind of check list of the steps
involved in creating/updating a service program? I seem to have problems
every time I attempt this. Thanks!
