The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.

Is this undocumented that %Error and %Error() are the same thing?
I suspect this is a side-effect of a change to the compiler at 510.

Other enhancements have been made to this release as well. These
include:
o You can specify parentheses on a procedure call that has no
parameters.

Prior to 510 specifying empty parentheses on a procedure call with no
parameters would result in a syntax error. Somewhat silly and
corrected in 510. Since BIFs are effectively compiler-supplied
procedures it seems reasonable that empty parentheses are allowed on
them too--whether this was by design or side-effect only Barbara can
say.
