The decimal value of one, would imply an ordinary ASP, not an
independent ASP. Only a device name of the latter is supported;
i.e. not a number. There is a separate RSTASP parameter for other
than iASP, but that is unlikely to be the issue.
The OP failed to mention the release, the message identifier, or
if, how, & where the library was created prior to the [failing]
restore object request. Perhaps DSPSAVF RPGDOC may be relevant as well.
