The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

With a mixed breed shop (those that use procedures and those who don't),
binding directories keep other programmers from throwing the program on your
lap when they need to re-compile. If they are not changing anything that
effects your module, they can just put the old #14 in and they do not even
know the difference.
It seems in our shop tied to usefulness. We seem to use new techniques when
necessary to achieve results. Do those in charge in your shops strictly
enforce standards? It seems some shops are just glad with the end result,
regardless of what coding techniques achieved those results. Letting the
programmer use his or her own style, so to speak. I know, you wonder what
the code looks like under that. A thing that drives me crazy is creating a
new version of a program just to change a few lines.
On a side note, I have not worked in S36EE for 12 years and have to convert
some code to native. It came to me instantly to use MENU instead of GO to
bring up the menu. Scary. I wish I could go someplace and have all my system
34/36 S36EE surgically removed from my brain and replaced with LE.
