Well, it was kind of toungue in cheek... We have 3 devs. Me and two
other guys. The 2/3 is the ones that don't use srvpgm and module. I am
the 1/3 that does.

Luckily for us, I comment well and have readable code. My source files
are organized and its easy to see what service programs I have by looking
at the QSRVSRC (they are named the same as the service program).

We are a very project based and don't cross projects a whole lot. Each of
us has areas that we specialize in and get projects based on the areas we
have worked in previously. So if there is something pertaining to
capacity planning or shop floor scheduling I get it. If is pricing and
costing, another guy gets it. So we don't cross code a whole lot,
sometimes, but it hasn't been an issue thus far. Only time will tell.

When I hear of a project that might be able to use a procedure I've
written I give them the procudure name, and instructions on how to include
it in their program if they want to use it. Most of the stuff we have
written before isn't really that copmlicated. Some of it could benefit
from using ILE methods. The stuff I've been writing the last year is
pretty impossible to write without ILE. (Impossible as in degrees of
complexity increased significantly if you don't use procedures - gotta
love BOM processing via recursion 8-D )

Lots of people program in RPGIV without using ILE techniques
such as service programs and modules. 2/3 of my shop for instance :)

And 3/3 of ours, but we still have modules and our obliged to use binding
directories. Maybe you could use CRTBNDRPG on everything. I'm interested,
how does the other 1/3 communicate with the 2/3?
