There was a recent question on Linkedin titled "Why aren't RPG programmers moving en masse to EGL?" I've never used EGL, so I limited my comments to generalizations about how hard it may be for organizations to shift from one development paradigm to another, after they've already made significant investments in one. My thoughts were somewhat in line with your comment about shops that may be looking to convert their whole development environment. But how many are there?
