I use SQL cursors mainly for user-defined subfile loads (sorry, Scott). I admit that I usually don't think about using SQL for most reports, even in cases when I should. But I don't really see much difference between loading subfiles and printing reports as far as SQL goes.

Of course, sometimes (rarely but sometimes) it's just easier to use the Cycle.
