I need to calculate a standard deviation on a 60 record sub-set of a larger
table of records. Each time I perform this calculation I'll drop the oldest
record and add the just read record and perform the calculation again until
I've done this for all the records in the table. I was able to do this same
type of calculation to come up with a "moving average" using XFOOT on the
array holding the data and dividing by the number of elements in the array.
Anyone know a simple way to do this inside RPG? Is there a way to call a
function in another language? TIA.
