Hi Tom
<verndor response>
I'm sure Scott's API can do what you want. And if a commercial offering
is a possibility, you might take a look at our RPG2SQL Integrator. It
has more than SQL-based features, which is all the name suggests. In
particular, it has a robust set of easy-to-use functions for working
directly with an instance of Excel running on a PC. Yes, we use a
middleware PC. From what I've seen of the Java approach Scott uses, our
product is easier to write code with. Of course, I could be biased.
So if interested in a demo, give me a call at 888.RJS.SOFT - and a free
30-day evaluation is easily set up.

I do know that Scott Klement has written code to write to an excel
spreadsheet via an RPG program.
I want to populate an existing spreadsheet's cells with totals that are
being created by an RPG program.
Should I still use Scott's program? I am looking for the easiest way.
Thanks.
