The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
What do you mean does nothing? It runs but nothing happens, it never gets
called, it gets called but fails?
Are both calls calling the same program?
Are you sure the parameters match what the called program expects and are
filled in with good data?
Is this a new addition to the program or existing code you are trying to
fix?
That's a good starting place. Can we see the prototype for this call?

CALLP

I am in the process of refreshing my RPG skills using the OJT method. I
have a program that makes 2 calls (CALLP) to another program. The first
call works great. The second call does nothing. Any help will be
appreciated. The code:
C******************************************************
C* Add Record to SQLMSG file *
C******************************************************
C ADDMSG BEGSR
/FREE
DSPLY UPSTEP;
UPDTE = %DEC(%CHAR(%DATE(UDATE:*MDY):*ISO0):8:0);
URCNT = SQLER3;
UMSGID = SQLCODE;
UMTXT = SQLERM;
UPGMID = 'CKWEEK01';
CALLP UPDMSG(UPGMID:UPSTEP:UPDTE:UMSGID:URCNT:UMTXT);
/END-FREE
C ENDSR
