True, but I was thinking more along the lines of adding the I/O
someplace, say a subroutine or something else in which case the
routine will have a problem.
Using and of the file status BIFs without a parameters is a bad idea
IMHO, especially if there's some distance between the file I/O and the
use of the BIF
