I got that Alan, and that resolved several compiler issues, however the
one that I am still having a problem with is the following error:

The NOMAIN keyword is not valid when the CRTBNDRPG command
used to create a program.

Re-reading your message it seems you are declaring a prototype to call an
external program. That prototype would be declared inside the procedure
unless you were wanting to make the call from several different procedures
in which case it would go in the global section but generally defined in
the
procedure.
