a variable used as a host variable in an SQL statement. Is this just
a
Pre-Compiler shortfall, or is there something I'm doing incorrectly?

P $GetLblMod B
D $GetLblMod PI LIKE(SFCLB2Ctmp.LBL)
D InCust LIKE(ECLtmp.LCUST) CONST
D InShip LIKE(ECLtmp.LSHIP) CONST
D OPTIONS(*NOPASS)
D*-------------------
D Rtn S like($GetLblMod)

You have a variable that is "like" a procedure? Am I reading this
right? If valid, this is something I've not seen done.

I didn't finish my thought before the message sent. Sorry. I can guess
that this defines Rtn like SFCLB2Ctmp.LBL, but what if you state that
explicitly? Is SQL happy then?
