What's different about the various runs? Different order? Completely different data?
An ORDER BY clause should cure the first.
If you have that clause and the select is over a static file (no records being added/deleted/etc), then I would like to see your SELECT statement. If the file/table is subject to change, such as a history or pending order file, the results will change as the data changes - as it should.

Subject: newbie embedded SQL issue
I have written an SQLRPGLE program. Appears to run fine, with this issue: Invoke the program...and the results are the same as when I do an SQL select. Run it a second time...and the results are different. Run it a third time....and the results are different than the second. What do I need to do so to get consistent results that match a standard SQL select?
Thanks!
Rick
