It might help if you posted the SQL statement and what the differences are between executions.

SQL is not guaranteed to return a result set in the same order unless you specify an order by clause. Could that be it maybe?

Subject: newbie embedded SQL issue

I have written an SQLRPGLE program. Appears to run fine, with this issue: Invoke the program...and the results are the same as when I do an SQL select. Run it a second time...and the results are different. Run it a third time....and the results are different than the second. What do I need to do so to get consistent results that match a standard SQL select?

Thanks!

Rick
