RE: SQL select into [array]?

Hmmm - hadn't bumped into that piece of silliness before.

My thoughts on the current design of the SQL pre-compiler have been
stated several times before. Sadly the last few rounds of fixes cost
so much that any chance of starting over and "doing it right" pretty
much went out of the door so we're likley stuck with it.


P.S. It may be "again" for you - but I didn't see the note about the
V5R4 problem until long after my note was sent.

I had to go back and check, Jon.... I had intended to put into my original
message a comment about the 8th field being a problem. I had typed it in
and copied a description similar to your proposal. But alas! I must have
deleted it as I was sending.

I apologize to you too. I'll let this be a lesson in patience, which was
worn particularly thin today.

Regarding the pre-processor: your lack of love for that solution is shared
by many, including this impatient person. :)
