Re: Eliminate a "tab" character in a file

Hi list!

I want to get rid of a special character from a data feed (.TXT) I am
processing. The field is the item number and is only 2 records (from over
300,000). The issue is that there is a "special character" at the end of
these two item numbers and I was told that they were created using a third
party software and that they were created with "tabs" at the end. The
source field has 30 characters long and the target field has 15. Both
"affected" values have less than 15 characters long.

How I can "purify" these items so I can trim off those characters?
