Yes it is smart enough - and has been for many years now. I _think_ it was implemented in RPG/400 but wouldn't swear to it.

Only way to guarantee it is via destruction of the AG or by calling using a variable and calling a different program and then looping back and calling the one you want.

Personally I would consider using a flag to indicate when the program has been replaced and then triggering the re-resolve.

Better still would be to change the process. Seems to me that changing a program on the fly and then calling it with zero testing is nothing more than an accident waiting to happen.
