Hi Bryce
yes - you can put multiple conditions on a do loop
a dow checks the condition on top
a dou checks the condition at the end
so in your case
dow myVariable <> '' and myVariable <> 'A';
line 1
line 2
line 3
line 4
line 5
if certain condition;
myVariable = 'A';
endif;
line 7
line 8
line 9
line 10
enddo
at the beginning, myVariable <> 'A'
after line 5
myVariable is set to 'A'
line 7 through line 10 are also processed
BUT it will NOT go through the DO loop again

Ok Group. I have run into an interesting problem...reading
I have this loop structure...
dow myVariable <> '' and myVariable <> 'A';
// I do some stuff
// At some point myVariable could be set to '' or A or another value
// at which point we want to run the loop again.
enddo;
But when myVariable = 'A' the loop runs anyway.
Can we not put multiple conditions on a DOW loop? Is my brain not
my logic correctly today?list
Thanks
