I don't think it will ... as 'mymail.com' is going to be encoded ebcdic (and the compile time ccsid ) ... and the "@" character will (I think) end up being a blank.

If you are concerned about CCSID translation, I would suggest never hard coding anything ... and using message files for all constants.
