Everyone agrees with you, but all of us have been burned at least once on these kinds of assumptions. If the file is ever sorted, reorganized, and a few other possibilities, in the future you will be surprised, as will who ever innocently reorganized the file.

None of us disagree with what you are finding, we are all just saying "Whoa, been there, done that. Didn't get the tee shirt."
