The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
As long as the file is REUSEDLT(*NO) and FIFO and there has been no RGZPFM
KEYFILE(<some value other than *NONE>) and it hasn't been CPYFed in and out
and it hasn't been sorted (FMTDTA etc) and ...

Subject: Non-unique keys
Assuming a keyed PF, non-uniquely keyed, opened as externally-described,
from RPG:
Is there any guarantee that, when reading all the records for a
particular key (starting with a CHAIN for the initial read, and a READE
in a loop for subsequent reads), they'll show up in order of ascending
RRN within those matching the key?
(And no, I didn't design the bloody file!)
