The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
Currently, we use IIS on a server external to our network. Web pages are
served with .asp & .html. Data is exchanged with the iSeries via
sockets, (Sorcerer's Guide & Scott's examples). Due to the occasional
loss of packets between the web server and the iSeries, we are looking
at moving to Apache/IBM HTTP & PHP and serving directly from the
iSeries. Do we need to have a second NIC card in the box that can be
given an outside address (fixed) ? Or is this something I could learn
at Common in the networking classes ?
