The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

Just curious as to others experience,
Of RPG trigger programs I've written and/or looked at most (all?) were
designed to support multiple trigger events and/or times.
It depends.
In some cases, I've written a separate delete trigger for a file that
uses a trigger for both add and update.
And in another notable case, I've written a script-driven trigger
program (incorporating a recursive descent parser, fed by an ILE C
scanner) that can handle all three operations on as many as 30 or more
different files, no two with the same record format. And it actually
DOESN'T cause much of a performance hit, even on the relatively anemic
400s we use around here.
