Use of the TAB key to auto-load a field

Good afternoon list!

I need to enter a list of items in a file. The file has 2 fields: the
FROM field, which will have the item I will type in and the TO field,
which will be whatever value I want. Here is where the challenge comes: I
need to be able to program the TAB key in a way that when I press the TAB
key after finishing typing the value in the FROM field, to go to the TO
field and load in it the value I previously typed in the FROM field. I
will have the option to leave it like that or change it if I want.

For example, if I have a FROM field value of "ABC123", when I finished
entering the data and I press the TAB key, I wan the cursor to move to the
next field (the TO Field) and I want the value in FROM field to be the new
value in the TO field.

Is this possible? Any examples? Thanks in advance!
