Touche. But I think I did use matching records once last year, and I
(and everybody else on this List) have been given an example that looks
like a good tutorial on level breaks, one that I will peruse when I get
some time.
The thing is, The Cycle is easy to understand, and whether you use it or
disable it, you HAVE to do SOMETHING with it.
The key to writing a file-update or file-problem-detection program
(e.g., a "janitorial" program) using The Cycle is this:
Write the program as if you were processing ANY ARBITRARY ONE RECORD in
the file, with the record passed to it as a quasi-parameter.
