I wish I had a horse because that would mean I thought I had enough time in my day to take care of it :-)

But on a more serious note, it would be fun to just start out with something simple like a talking to a motor that has three states: stop, forward, backward - almost like a garage door. Imagine how cool it would be to write a program that could open your garage door from your Blackberry which makes a web services call to your AS400 which "calls" the garage door - that would just be so geeky cool.

I know that was said in jest, but the past couple years I have really wanted to do a project that would have RPG "talking" to a physical electronic device to automate something in my home (being that I have an AS400 in my basement). Has anybody done such a project outside of work?
