I neglected to mention that they were written using V4R2 ILE development tools, and therefore without the supposed benefits of "/FREE".

(I still say, if you want a language with the look and feel of PL/I, then don't just graft it onto another language; USE PL/I! IT'S A WONDERFUL LANGUAGE!)
