Using color (OK, the hex controls associated with the color attributes) can also cause problems with FTPing the source from one system to another (if not using binary mode).

Is there a way to change the source code color of RPG programs ?

I would recommend against trying to put color codes inside RPG source members
... some find it annoying and (at least IMO) it does nothing to help the
documentation.

Plus, at least in the past, it's caused me some problems with various
external editors. I think an early version of WDSC had problems with 5250 data
stream codes in source members.
