Thanks Scott,

All my attempts to get into XML uptil now have failed. I looked briefly at HTTPAPI but had to give it up when I discovered that none of our LPAR had access to the web.

I would like to quite simply start reading and writing XML with RPG.

Hi David,

I'm not exactly sure what it is that you want to learn. Here's what you
said:

For someone like me who has seen a little XML, XSL, HTML, PHP, etc but
little experience of anything more complicated than hello world level,
could anyone point me to a document to get started?

A document to get started with what? The XML Toolkit for i? Or XML/XSL in general? Or HTML (which is a similar, but not directly related
topic) or PHP (which is a totally different and unrelated topic)

Do you know XML and want to learn the toolkit? Or do you want to learn
XML? OR one of the other technologies that you listed (Which wouldn't be taught in the same place as either XML or the toolkit for it!)
