The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
The most prevalent reason for slow queries is lack of appropriate
indexing.
I have seen this several, several times.

subject: iSeries data access
Dear All,
I'm accessing our iSeries database from web but the problem is it takes
lot of time to access the DB some queries take more than 2 min. I'm
accessing via ODBC and those web programs coded using .NET.
Does any one know how to optimize those queries. All suggestions are
highly appreciated.
