Thanks for the response Kurt. As Rob mentioned it *should* be catching the
pointer error as it *should* have a status code of 00222 (
http://wiki.midrange.com/index.php/MONITOR_Error_Codes).

With all that said it is obviously escaping past my ON-ERROR clause, or
rather getting sent to QSYSOPR *before* checking to see if there is a
"program error boundry" (not sure what to categorize *PSSR and MONITOR as)
further up the call stack.
