You could do a DSPPGMREF to an outfile and check that.
Hawkeye/Pathfinder is a good tool to do the basic analysis also.

Or you could use a good change control system (such as MKS Implementer) which will automatically keep track of what programs & logical files are related to a physical file ... and recompile them when the file is moved from development to testing and testing to production (as required).
