That sounds like it. However I am on V5R4 on this one lpar and this is
happening:
DSPFFD WALDEN
MYKEY BINARY 9 0 4 1 Both MYKEY
MYDATA CHAR 5 5 5 Both MYDATA
MYDATE DATE 10 10 10 Both MYDATE
I added the date field later.
D walden e ds extname(walden)
In debug eval mykey and mydata return values. However eval mydate returns
CPF7E12 Identifier does not exist. Which, since the field was added and
the program not recompiled makes sense.
C/EXEC SQL
C+ Declare C1 cursor for
C+ Select *
C+ from walden
C/END-EXEC
...
C/EXEC SQL
C+ Fetch C1 into :walden
C/END-EXEC
Right after the fetch SQLCOD and SQLSTT are both zeros. I even F10'd a
couple of extra lines and checked again.
