Monitor blocks, can, or cannot be, evil. It depends on their granularity.
For example if I do leave my monitor and end mon around a tight code
area, life is good. But if I put a monitor at the top and use it as a
catch all I don't like it. As often stated, if my code dies with a MSGW
for a totally unexpected condition, I just as soon get the MSGW and handle
it then have a generic error jump somewhere. IMHO it makes manual restart
procedures easier.
