Actually Barbara gave me the idea, when I was using a standard copybook to contain my *PSSR code - she pointed out that I could indent the /COPY:

/free
begsr *pssr;
/copy qrpglecpy,pssr1
return;
endsr;
/end-free

Frankly, I'd be happy with allowing:

/IF NOT DEFINED(*MBR)
/DEFINE *MBR
...
/ENDIF

but yes, I am strange.

Cunning! I don't recall ever putting directives inside /FREE and /END-
FREE blocks. Since all of my includes are definitions I list them
amongst the D-specs. It wouldn't have occurred to me to use /FREE in
the D-specs. What a strange person you must be :)
