About the only time I edit code outside of WDSC, or the Change Management package, is the Mimix switch programs during a switch if something nasty happens. For those, if I had to use EDTF, I wouldn't slice my wrists.I agree that EDTF is an option, Rob, but lack of PDM/SEU in an emergency is a concern that's occasionally brought up. The primary situation I can come up with is having to edit either an exit point or the IPL startup procedure if something got totally hosed, and like you said, EDTF is good enough for those. In general, though, if my network isn't up I'm not doing a lot of application programming.
