There is no difference (other than the name). They are identical in
the same way that:
VFYTCPCNN is identical to PING
WRKTCPSTS is identical to NETSTAT
STRDNSQRY is identical to NSLOOKUP
STRTCPFTP is identical to FTP
STRTCPTELN is identical to TELNET
and so on ...
One follows the OS/400 command naming convention and the other uses
the foreign other platform convention.
