So what's the point here? Once you add triggers, can you still get bad data into the file? If you can, then the triggers didn't help, did they?

If you're saying that triggers *prevent* bad data from getting into the file, then I can understand your point. But then I would counter that data modules also prevent bad data from getting into the files, so the point is moot. I would contend actually that you have more control over the data with an HSA profile, but that's just me.

All I'm saying is that triggers aren't inherently better than HSA profiles for ... well, for anything. They are an alternate solution that has advantages and drawbacks.
