FWIW...an "accidental" RMVPFTRG would be a heckuva lot harder since you have to have an exclusive lock in order to remove it....Sure. But at the same time, if it does get removed and you're counting on it, the whole world goes to hell. I guess my point is that if you design your system in a way that assumes that one worst-case scenario can happen (that is, that security will be bypassed), then you have to address ALL of the worst case scenarios.
