David,

SFLDSP should be *off when your subfile is empty. But you should make sure
that the first format you display clears the screen, i.e. it should not
have OVERLAY specified.

Yes, it's cleared each time.

I think I have an idea : SFLDSP is off if there are no records in the

subfile.

How can I put SFLDSP to *on when there are no records without
getting an error?
