Any reason for preferring using api over command? In this particular
instant, command makes more sense to me.

Subject: Modify USRDTA in a spool file from RPG

I need to modify the user data field on a spool file from an RPG
program. I know I can do this using the file feedback from the printer
file along with CHGSPLFA command, but I'd rather call an API. Does
anyone have an example?
